You have free parking for two vehicles on the lot with the red garages you passed on your way to our house, not in the street itself. The green stripes mark your free parking area. You can drive up to the street to unload luggage and supplies, of course, but please have the driver remain by the vehicles, poised to move, and park only in the designated "green zone".

The small red x marks the spot beneath our house, and the big red X marks the cul-de-sac at the end of our streets. Both spots are imperative for garbage trucks and snow mover access and cannot be occupied, as is the rest of Venusvegen:
 

There is no street parking for Airbnb and Booking guests: Unfortunately the local snow movers and garbage trucks have been repeatedly impeded due to reckless parking by our and other hosts’ Airbnb and Booking guests throughout the last two or three winters, to the point where the neighborhood association now has banned hospitality guest parking. When somebody blocks the way for a snow mover, the street might snow in for days. The neighborhood inhabitants now risk having the entire street being turned into a no parking zone (legally it already is, it’s just not currently enforced). We tried at the longest to offer our guests to park freely below our house, but have conceded it’s not feasible.

 

On the other hand, the parking area is very close, and as mentioned you can drive up to the house to drop off people and luggage, so it’s really just a minor inconvenience
